MaxForce™ is a retractable screen designed to stay locked in the track—even in high winds. Smart Motor™ senses resistance and adjusts seamlessly, allowing self-correction when the screen encounters an obstacle: Fewer snags, fewer jams, and fewer costly service calls.

MaxForce™ Keder-edge technology delivers unmatched durability and simplicity. Borrowed from sailboat rigging, this system eliminates zippers, cables, and exposed hardware—ensuring smooth, reliable operation every time.

The MaxForce™ weight bar is engineered for strength—and built to hold its ground. Pound for pound, it’s the heaviest and most robust weight bar. The weight ensures proper screen tension, flawless deployment, and maximum stability in high wind zones. —limited flex, no failure.

MaxForce™’s heavy-duty weight bar isn’t just strong. It’s smart. Reinforced corners and integrated tie-ins create a unified structure that acts like a solid wall of protection when deployed. Made from high-strength nylon, this bar absorbs impacts while maintaining structural integrity.

AMERICAN INGENUITY
Proudly Made in the USA—every MaxForce™ screen is built with American strength, precision, and pride. From the smallest components to the final assembly, our materials are sourced and manufactured right here in the United States. No outsourcing. No compromises. Just hardworking Americans protecting American homes with the toughest screen system on the market.
Protecting a patio or lanai from hurricane-force winds isn't a single decision — it's a sequence of them. Hurricane screens must be engineered to withstand sustained wind speeds, debris impact, and the pressure differential that develops when a storm surrounds a structure. The right system depends on your home's exposure, the size and orientation of the opening, local building code requirements, and whether you want passive or motorized protection. MaxForce™ motorized hurricane screens are engineered for use in High Velocity Hurricane Zones and approved for Miami-Dade County under Florida Product Approval 8637-R15 — among the most demanding hurricane standards in the United States — and deploy in under a minute at the press of a button. Understanding what separates a code-compliant installation from a cosmetic one is the difference between protection and exposure.
MaxForce hurricane screens are engineered for use in High Velocity Hurricane Zones and approved for Miami-Dade County under Florida Product Approval FL8637-R15, with winds rated up to 185 MPH. The system pairs a self-adjusting, spring-tensioned track — which keeps the screen taut across its full range — with a patented locking design that engages under wind load to hold the screen firmly in place. The same spring technology has been proven on Fenetex's OneTrack screens for nearly a decade. When deployed, the screen lays nearly flat and operates quietly: protection built to lock down against a hurricane that's also comfortable to use year-round.
Yes. MaxForce hurricane screens are approved for use in Miami-Dade County and High Velocity Hurricane Zones (HVHZ) under Florida Product Approval 8637-R15, supported by stamped engineering. The system has been tested to ASTM E1886, E1996, and E330, and to TAS 201, 202, and 203, and is rated for a design pressure of ±200 PSF.
Hurricane shutters and MaxForce screens both provide rated storm protection, but they differ in use and visibility. Shutters are typically opaque, deployed panel by panel, and stored when not in use. MaxForce screens are motorized, deploy across the full opening in under a minute, and use a fabric that preserves outward visibility while blocking debris, wind, and rain. Because the screens lay nearly flat and run quietly, they also serve year-round functions — sun, insect, and privacy control — not only storm protection.
No. The spring-based tensioning system maintains steady tension across its full range and absorbs the energy of wind gusts gradually, rather than letting track components knock together. The result is quiet, controlled operation even as wind loads rise and fall.
Year-round. The self-adjusting screen lays nearly flat and operates quietly enough for everyday use, providing shade, insect control, and weather protection in ordinary conditions, then locking down against hurricane-force winds when a storm approaches. It's built for hurricanes and suited to any climate, in every season.
Yes. MaxForce screens are fully retractable and roll out of sight when not in use. At the press of a button, they deploy across an opening in under a minute. The spring-tensioned track keeps the screen taut during everyday use, and a patented locking design engages under wind load to hold it secure in a storm. Screens operate via a handheld remote, mobile app, or integrated smart-home system.
Yes. When deployed, a MaxForce screen forms a continuous barrier across the opening, shielding patio furniture, outdoor kitchens, and lanais from wind-driven rain, flying debris, insects, dust, and UV exposure.
MaxForce screens cover spans of up to 25 feet and are custom-built to the exact dimensions of each opening. They're used on residential patios and lanais as well as commercial storefronts and outdoor dining areas. Larger or multiple openings are handled with independently operating screens.
MaxForce is a national brand installed through certified dealers. While the system is approved for use in Florida's Miami-Dade County and HVHZ — among the most demanding hurricane standards in the United States — it's installed on coastal and inland homes nationwide.
Most residential installations are completed in one to two days once final measurements are taken and the screens are manufactured. The total timeline depends on the number of openings, site access, and production lead time, since each screen is built to order.
MaxForce offers standard frame finishes in white and bronze tones, with optional custom powder coating to match specific architectural finishes, plus a selection of screen fabric colors. All fabric and frame finishes are marine-grade and UV-resistant.
MaxForce screens require minimal maintenance. The aluminum framing is powder-coated and marine-grade to resist corrosion, and the fabric can be rinsed with water as needed. Periodic inspection of the track and motor is recommended, and a dealer can service the system.
Yes! MaxForce™ screens are compatible with Bond Bridge Pro, enabling:
- Smartphone control
- Voice assistant integration (Alexa, Google Home, etc.)
- Scheduling & automation
MaxForce screens carry a limited manufacturer's warranty from Fenetex against manufacturing defects, with coverage that varies by component. Aluminum, proprietary components, and welded seams are covered for the life of the system — for as long as the system or compatible systems remain in production and parts are available. Motors and operators are covered for 5 years. Hurricane fabric carries a 10-year UV-stability warranty. Paint finishes are covered for 5 years when installed more than a mile from the coast, and 3 years within a mile of the coast. The warranty applies to the original owner and is not transferable.
